Site Information

Moon Pixel Power! was in development hell construction since March of 2023, and was opened on April 6, 2025! I realised after a few years of tenatively creating pixel art (or quite possibly, pixel disasters) that I was making quite a few Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon-related pieces, so to gather them altogether into one place was the only sensible answer! I toyed with the idea of making an adoption page to simply feature on SC.Net, but eventually decided it would be more fun to eventually have a full site of pixelly goodness. And here it is!

I use a mixture of programs to create my pixel art, depending on what I'm making: either Adobe Photoshop CS6, JS Paint, or Piskel's desktop app.

Layout

This layout, ridiculously named pastel pixel pretties (alliteration always adds amusement, agree? ^~) was coded by hand using Phoenix Code and Notepad++. The images used in the various graphics were sourced from The Spriters Resource, and created using Photoshop CS6. The font used in the graphics and in the navigation is RPGSystem by Axel Lymphos; the fonts in the layout are Poppins by Indian Type Foundry, Hepta Slab by Mike LaGattuta, and Comic Neue by Craig Rozynski with Hrant Papazian. This layout uses valid HTML5 and CSS, and should be accessible on ALL devices -- so please feel free to drop me a line if there are any hiccups on your end!
